The 10th Cronopiave, for the drafting of the final classification provides:
Number 4 stamped transit checks (CT);
Number 5 time stamp control (CTO);
Number 6 timed trials at set time (PC);
Number 8 hourly checks (CO).

8.1 Transit Control (Stamp) (CT)
For Stamped Transit Control (CT) we mean a check at a required point along the route in order to verify the actual passage of the participants. A visible location will be set up where the competitor will stop for a timbre to be affixed to the roadmap. The station is in any case dismantled after 15 minutes from the theoretical passage time of the last competitor.

8.2 Secret Transit Control (CTS)
For Secret Transit Control (CTS) we mean a check at a required point along the route NOT marked on the roadbook, in order to verify the actual passage of the participants in the planned itinerary. In this case, a visible location will be set up where the competitor will stop for a timbre to be affixed to the roadmap. The station is in any case dismantled after 15 minutes from the theoretical passage time of the last competitor.

8.3 Time Stamp Control (CTO)
For Time Stamp Control (CTO) we mean an obligatory passage point along the route where the competitor must present himself at an appointed time. The schedule of each participant clearly and precisely reports this timetable. From that time the competitor has 1 minute to hand in the roadmap and be stamped by the designated commissioner (except CTO5 where only the roadmap will be delivered). Any delay greater than the first minute is penalized. At the stage departures, the last 5 seconds for the start will be punctuated to the competitor. The station is disposed of after 15 minutes from the theoretical passage time of the last competitor.

8.4 Time Trial Time Trial (PC)
Time Trial Time Trial (PC) refers to a determined stretch of road, open to regular traffic, to be covered in an imposed time, measured at the hundredth of a second, and determined by the passage in opening and closing of the test by photocells. The schedule of each participant clearly and precisely reports the time required. The difference, in hundredths, more or less than the expected time of travel of the timed section, will result in the penalty. The start of the race is “self-driving” but in any case after the “way” of the Race Commissioner and not more than 10 seconds from the “start”. There may be “concatenated” evidence, that is where the opening of the next test corresponds to the closing of a test, in this case the non-stop segment will be from the sign at the beginning of the first chained trial to the closing sign of the last chained test. . “No-stop” sections will be established, marked with start and end signs before and after the survey line, including a minimum of 10 (ten) meters and a maximum of 300 (three hundred) meters. Failure to perform the test involves a penalty in the final classification of 300 points, the competitor who undergoes this aggravio can still continue the event, without passing through the control area, but must be registered in the test area by the present judge, under penalty of disqualification. The station is disposed of after 15 minutes from the theoretical passage time of the last competitor.

8.5 Time Control (CO)
For Time Control (CO) we mean a check at an obligatory point of passage, where the participants, upon passage on the photocell, are subjected to a hundredth of a second control with respect to a solar time allocated to them. The schedule of each participant clearly and precisely reports the time of passage. The difference, in cents, more or less than the expected passage time will result in the penalty. A delay to the presentation to the CO of more than 3 (three) seconds compared to the established time will be counted as a penalty of 300 points and the competitor who undergoes this aggravio can still continue the event, without passing through the control area, but must be registered passage to the trial area by the present judge, under penalty of disqualification. “No-stop” sections will be established, marked with start and end signs before and after the survey line, with a minimum of 10 (ten) meters and a maximum of 300 (three hundred) meters. The station is disposed of after 15 minutes from the theoretical passage time of the last competitor.

8.6 March Table (TM)
In the race pack will be provided the individual roadmap (TM) for each competitor where all the times will be specified, the length of the no-stop sections, the various average speeds, the times and places of the planned checks of the event and the spaces where Transit stamps will be affixed. It is up to the competitor to check that the transit stamp has been correctly affixed. The Race Director, in case of bad weather or unforeseen events, reserves the right to modify the travel averages to protect the safety of the participants.

8.7 Roadbook (RB)
Although the route is indicated by arrows at the diversions intersections, the roadbook can still be downloaded from the www.cronopiave.it website, at the discretion of the participants. It will also be possible to download the track in GPX track format, accepted by most surfers and smartphone applications. In the absence of indications, the “straight ahead” rule applies. Measurements of distances are taken at the beginning of roundabouts or at intersections and include the travel of the roundabouts.

9. Timekeepers
The timing management will be entrusted to a special group of official timekeepers belonging to the Italian Federation of Timekeepers (FICR). They will guarantee the exact timing of the time in accordance with this regulation and will elaborate the competition rankings. The unit of time (UT) for PC and CO controls is one hundredth of a second. The stopwatches are activated by photocells positioned at the height of the 10 “front wheel hub (type PX vespa). The stations of the Time Controls will cease to record the times 15 minutes after the theoretical time of passage of the last competitor. The timekeepers’ station is “off limits”: access is allowed only to the identifiable and recognizable organizing staff. Anyone who fails to comply with this requirement may be sanctioned at the sole discretion of the Clerk of the Course. This requirement is also valid for elements of the public that can be traced back to the participants in any way. At the start it is possible to consult the synchronizer with the official time of the event (GPS type signal) and you can synchronize your chronometers manually and without cables.
